Scale ships

When I open your photos they get all weird and cartoony-like, like the pixilation is all goofy or something. ???

Thanks for the pics. They all enlarge great for the old DOC. D>K

I have never competed in scale, but I'm getting the itch to build a PT-19 for the event.
The event isn't flown in Northern California but it's flown in a couple of contest down south.
My father and I built a full size PT-19 so I have hundreds of drawings and pictures as the plane was being built, so this would make for very accurate detailing.
I'll need to check out the rules and start thinking about a motor.
I love the sound of a four stroker in scale warbird so I believe I'll build around that.

There are some interesting scale models there that we know nothing about.

Anybody got the results from the Scale events with who entered and what the scores were? I see Ed Mason's airplanes in the picture.
If you live in Northern California consider going to the NW Regionals for CL scale, they fly on Memorial Day weekend every year.

Nicely done Jeff you did good with that little plane.

The year I was there I took pictures of the scale planes. I guess nobody had cameras this year. I need to get back to Brodaks. D>K

People take pictures with their phones and the pictures never leave the phones. I would love to publish some pictures and results from the Brodak Fly-in in the Model Aviation Column but to date I don't have anything. One of the best way to advertise a contest is to get the results published in Model Aviation for free in the VP column or other columns.
