Brodak products to S/E PA
« on: November 26, 2007, 01:54:44 PM »
I will be driving from my home in southeast PA to Brodak's in a few weeks.

If anyone in my area needs some fuel (or any Brodak products) feel free to contact me and I will bring back whatever you need. Saves you some shipping.

Bob Z.

I thought Randy was teaming up with Brodak with a Side Exhaust PA engine!

Hi, Chris - I'm not aware of any plans to that effect.  ???

If I were more into the larger engines, my personal choice would be to see a .60 size Brodak engine. It would be  based on the very sucsessful principle and technology of the .40, with the major change being ball bearings.

Just my opinion.

Bob Z.

ps - since this is, in effect, a new topic, maybe it should be moved to the engine section????

OK, to clear up and nip any rumors.  n1 n1

The only large Brodak engines are the .25 and .40. There are NO PLANS for anything else at this point as we have to direct efforts to customer requirements for these two engines.
No teaming up with anyone.

Regarding the .15, nothing in place at this time.

Regarding a .60 - who knows?   n~ n~
I've spoken to many who would like to see one but, as stated, the .25 and .40 take precedence.

This information comes from a conversation with John 5 minutes ago.

I wish people would stop refering to the Martians landing in NJ. We never did! We only landed in upstate NY in 1937 in a very smalltown on the banks of a "Y" shaped lake.

Bob, We didn't land at the Viking in 1937. However my wife and I along with three of our kids were among the first customers there in 1964 as guests of the Christensens. Great spot! Great lake and fabulous fishing, then and now. Visited the old hometown after the Brodak Fly in last June and even went to the field where I first soloed a control line ship in 1949.  Martians always were nostalgic!

Does Ken still own it?

I got to know him through sailing - he was the best sailor I ever met.

He had a number of scows.

Bob, I have no idea who may own he Viking now. I was always impressed with the tree that grew right up through the roof at the rear of the motel. Didn't really kn ow the owner, got the free weekend after a rush printing job i pushed through for him. I still get back to Keuka every now and then.
What a great place for a martian to grow up around!

Jioe I always thought you were from Satern. I am old and forget stuff. But I do know you are a Alien of some sort. He lives in the high desert of eastern Wahington, that's first clue.

If you have a chance please check to see if you can locate a B40 case. When I tried to order last summer it was on back order.
Thanks
