I just finished building a Brodak P-40 kit. 48.6 ounces, .46LA, APC 11.5 x 4. Monokote wings and tail, Dupli-Color white fuselage. Russian winter camo scheme. One thing about the paint, the directions say get all the coats on within an hour or wait 7 days. This is Gospel. Even the same can over the same color will attack and wrinkle if applied after the hour time. All colors followed by Dupli-Color clear within the hour is fine. I use acrylic enamel. Also I used the outside flap extension piece as a wing trim tab. 3 degree wedges under the engine, 3/8" balsa cheek tripler, cored fuselage. I've got 20 trim flights on it now, yesterday, 12/1/14, and the day before and it flys stable but a very hard corner I'm trying to trim out.
