Title: Brodak Flyin Day -4
Post by: Sam Laughery on June 07, 2007, 07:40:16 PM
Here are a couple of pics from today.  Yes it doesn't start until next Tuesday but a couple of folks arrived today.  Namely Doug Benedites and Tom Hampshire.  The X1 was designed and built by Harry Crespo a member of our club.  It flew very well.  I'll be out of town for a few days but will start postint pics again on Sunday.  I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at Brodaks next week.

Elwin and I will be heading east in the next hour or two, think it's about 1200 miles from here.. Everyone say a little prayer that the old Dodge makes it. See ya there and looking forward to a great week..

I have had my airline ticket for some time and will be leaving early Monday morning. With a change of flights out of Chicago I may not make it to the fly-in until mid Tuesday. I have been looking forward to this adventure for two years and now hope the weather holds.  See you all there! I more than likely will not be flying at he contest this  time, so I should be able to help out or just sit around and tell big lies.

I hopefully have attached a picture of yours truly so you can run and hide from me. Also attached is a P-51 Profile carrier ship I built for my Grandson Logan.

Great pictures,  I see the handsome one, Lew Woolard is there as well as Bob Reeves.  Isn't that Larry Scarinzi getting ready to inject that airplane?  Have lots of fun for me,  DOC Holliday
