What happened to Banjock's second round profile flight?  The slugomatic ringmaster didn't fall apart, did it?

He flew the 2 cylinder Fox 70 powered Bearcat...........Had a bad engine run.

I just re-checked the thread and there are no results for old time expert. Does anyone have the results or was it a rainout?

Thanks, rich.

Yes Joe is a force to reckon with.  He has great support from his wife.  I remember seeing him fly an ARF Nobler I think it was in Tulsa years ago and him asking tons of questions.  Every time I seen him after he would be flying any thing and every thing he could get in the air.  I my self thought he would burn out and quit, but he gets stronger and stronger. Congrats to Joe for doing so great.  Will be great to see his name on the Walker Cup soon.

I did not get a picture of OTS expert, but Dennis Adamison won with the big OTS  model that looks like a flying wing , all events were flown , we only had one event schedule change, but we flew it the next day,

Pilots choice was won by Joe Adamusko with his viper, Tim Stagg with his mustang, Bob Storick  with his minato , these were the top three vote tally , all first place awards . Listed in alphabetical order. .

Hi De, Sorry that you and Elwyn couldn't be there this year. we learned what it's like to fly in some very challenging weather. Tuesday was so windy that one really had to be very brave or just plane lucky to get the flight in. My '49 Smoothie really surprised me by flying smartly through the gale in Nostalgia 30 Wednesday my second Phase II OTS flight was in a driving rain storm! Again the plane cut through the water quite well! Joe Gilbert with his his Don Stuka Fox .35 combo won that segment with a 324 I believe; my Smoothie came in Second with 312; and Wesley Dick was Third with a tally of 289.5 flying a very spiffy Don Still Stuka also Fox powered. We all in both classes had a fun time no matter what the circumstances were!

Many Experts opted to not fly their second patterns on Saturday in PA due to the rain's presence. Judging in downpour isn't particularly much fun either!

Wess also received the Spirit of '52 award for OTS. This recognition was surely deserved!

Well Dennis I guess Big Art is popping buttons with your win, way to go.   I must say congrats to all who competed at Brodaks.  Watch out next year as I'm prepping the planes for all the last places.
