« on: March 03, 2010, 07:36:29 AM »
Are the dates for the Fly-In confirmed? June 14th - 19th is what I have gathered but they are not yet on Brodak's web site.

My bags are packed (mentally) my flight and motel reservations are made.  My only question...When will the pre-contest entry forms be mailed. I may have to maintain my perfect and historic last place finishes again.

I just spoke to John. The entry forms will be mailed out shortly.

I suspect that we'll see them in a few weeks.

No, it's just a $10 or $15 break for early.  No penalty to add events on site.

One thing I've noticed.  Flying order seems to be set by order of entry.  So if you enter earlier, you fly earlier.  Or at least, if you enter on site, you fly last (that I know for sure).

Hey guys and gals,

I hope all of your reservations are for the Holliday at Uniontown. Should be a week long party there.  Finally have a "Headquarters" hotel with great facilities for our families and friends, BS sessions and so on.  When the Brodak site is updated for this year there will be a direct link for booking at the special rate for us.

Also an entry form will be on the site with the schedules etc.

Paul,  You're mistaken about the flight order.  Pre-entries are radomly drawn for order so the score sheets may be pre-printed.  Late or on site entries are added and so of course wind up at the bottom but in all CLPA events the order is reversed for the second round.

Can't wait for June to get here.

Later,  John

And yes we are staying at the Holiday Inn, showing up on Sunday night, fly for 6 days, leave on Father's day.

You're right Elwyn,

75.00/night  Normal 135.00 rooms.   You MUST ask for the Brodak rate.

Just to get it all together.

Headquarters Hotel : Holiday Inn at Uniontown: 724-437-2816.
Brodak Fly Inn dates: June 15 thru 19.
You must mention the Brodak Fly Inn to get the $75.00 rate.

I try to avoid being baited, but the comment about flight order/entry order is wrong, period.  Flight order is set by random drawing.  Tom Hampshire, Co CD.
