Fun at Tulsa Glue Dobbers Web Cam

I was just on the TGD webcam. Nobody flying except for a guy south of the field flying a motorized hang glider. He is in direct line of the camera, and just kind of floating around in the general area. Pretty cool.

Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me. It is still there and must be a balloon or something. It sure looked like a hang glider at times, and does move quite a ways.

It's a small helium advertising blimp with  flag on the anchor cable. It was there Thursday but I didn't notice it until I had a plane in the air. It took a few laps to figure out what it was.

The field it empty mainly because of either the heat or the stinking wind.  We did get a chance to fly Thursday evening.  Check tomorrow, there should be a few of us heat and wind worshipers out there.  Also we have been doing quite a bit of work, cleaning up and rebuilding after the storm a few weeks ago.  Everything is just about back to normal.  Our ole fridge dumped on us this week, so there is another lil project that needed taking care of.  Gotta have lots of cold drinks ya know.  Hope some of you make it to the contest on the July 4th weekend.

Big dark cloud headed this way, haven't checked the weather but sure looks like it might rain so no surprise if no one shows today. Refrigerator issue was taken care of yesterday, club bought a used one from a used appliance dealer, they delivered the new one and took the old one away, I liked that because I didn't have to help move a refrigerator
