A new Brodak Bearcat kit arrived yesterday. What a package. I sat down with the 43 page instruction book and several supplement pages and had a pleasant read. Lots of work but very detailed with photos covering every aspect of construction. What a far cry from the kits of 35 years ago. A peek in the box to check a few parts, but not too much, lest the road map syndrome occur. (Trying to get everything to fit back in the box is like refolding a road map.)
I don't think you can go wrong with any of the newer kits today. I own several Brodak Kits along with one from RSM and a Stiletto kit from Walter Umland. The materials selected and the plans are first rate. I am going to really enjoy starting construction on these beautiful birds, once I get my shop finished. Soon, very soon, I hope.
