Granted there are few kits on the market for teaching. The plane they are using reminds of the Scientific American Boy with an OK Cub .049A. I had back in the 50's with same engine. I wore out several because they were a dollar a kit and the Cub was $4.95. It also came with all the control system. I have a kit just like were sold in the hobby shop. Mine came from a hardware store. But how many kids or even adults would try their hand at Control Line these days.
I remember the late Jim Walker saying the Fire Baby made very little profit but once guys tried and learned to fly it then they flew the Fire Cat which made the money
