Why do Brodak advise no muffler when breaking in a new Brodak 40?

It just allows it to run a bit cooler.

Thanks guys, Your answers probably also explain why the Enya 35 I have spent about 3hours running in with a muffler attached, has taken so long!! Hope you are all still able to fly in spite of the Covin19 pandemic............
