The Brodak fly in site was very busy today, the field was set up ( 6 circles ) , Thanks to Mark Weiss, Rick Huff and many others that stepped up to help get things done. I was delayed getting to the  field today , to find all circles marked, staked and roped off.

The Campers are arriving early to get the prime spots, setting up , catching up with everyone , what a great place to spend a week,

Overview


The  preregistration numbers  for stunt are  close to last year,  with the bulk of competitors in advanced and expert.  With late entries , the numbers could easily past last year ,  juniors are up,

biggest class is  PA advanced

I will update this posting with results , photos and comments daily as time permits,

It is my sincere hope and prayer that it is a truly blessed, wonderful and fun-filled event and that the health of all who attend is blessed and strong.  I would love to have been able to attend but "life" is what it is!!

Today was good weather, rain early , then all day flying, rain light, run to Hartley's for lunch, trip to the hobby shop , good deals on  some sale items,   Ice cream for desert , back to hobby shop , seems like a pattern here .

Kaz Minato is here,  brought very nice blue max  for Joe Gilbert  . Gene Martine , joe and others working on New Composate take apart models,  take apart ringmaster  from Kaz minato's traveling partner . Name ???

Lots of new models, too busy to take pictures ,  mike Londke posted a couple  on facebook, biggest ringmaster I have seen, by Len bechold. Watt Moore  building a model for  one of the kids to fly in Classic on Wednesday , 

Busy day  tomorrow , Monday is profile , racing and Carrier ,

Is the Gentleman with Kaz Minato possibly Masaru Hiki...if it is be sure to watch him fly!  Tightest corners and flattest pullouts you will ever see!  Both of these guys are incredible gentlemen.

Day one in the books , light rain  early , started on time , midway thru the first round , the rain ended, overcast , no wind and no sun, long day for expert and advanced judges ,

Carrier got alotvof flights in and hope to finish tomorrow, foxberg put on a good show as usual,

Tomorrow is n 30 / classic. , carrier and racing

We had  a lot of flights on the Ringrat trainer , had a couple families from close by to fly and had a great time with kids flying , more training tomorrow ,

The black and yellow model a vampire built by Ward Van Duzer , nice model, done in typical Ward fashion, all correct stuff, fox 35 4  head bolt ,3 bolt backplate engine,  proper  era wheels, spinner, prop, etc.. Cool to see again ,

It was not Masaru, I will get his name tomorrow, he had a very nice ringmaster , take apart, tissue dope, os 25 .

The Ringmaster belonged to Masahiro Matsui of Japan. After his last official flight he gave the airplane to Samuel. It is one of the finest, well built take aparts you will ever find. He is a great guy.
