I believe Tim Tipton had to cancel but we still have a good crowd coming from Oklahoma.

If the mini van does not break down, I will be attending my first Brodak,s this year. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and having fun flying. The wife did not want to go and she thought the kids were to young so I will be by myself. Now to load everything up and get it there without damage

I always like to have the Mrs and kids along on a flying trip, but I don't force them to come. If there are some good shopping malls nearby then they will always come. But if they decide not to come then the upside is that I have more room to fit more model planes in.  #^

Don't forget the group photo.  As one lady told me after I went to a NATS without my son, "They are(kids) never too young".  I know you guys/gals are going to have fun.  So don't rub it in too hard on the old man.  DOC Holliday

Hi guys,
This year I am going to Brodak's for the very first time but only as a spectator. A lot of good guys have encouraged me to go over the years however circumstances didn't permit, but this year I am actually going.

According to the AccuWeather forcast the mornings may be cool enough for me to wear my Stunthanger jacket so I may be easy to spot but it will climb to the 80's and the jacket will be replaced with a short sleeve shirt.  In any event, with or without my jacket I hope to meet you guys in person.

I should arrive around mid-day on Tuesday and stay till last flight on Saturday. I am looking forward to this trip.
I expect we will all have a good time.

                                                          See you there,
                                                                                Pat Robinson

Does your weather forecast say it's going to rain?  I sure hope it doesn't but that is what one weather site says.  Another one says it is supposed to be beautiful, and another one says a chance of rain.  Don't know which one to follow  ???

. . .  Don't know which one to follow  ???

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Carmichaels&state=PA&site=PBZ&textField1=39.8977&textField2=-79.9752

NOAA runs several models, several times a day. Many local (TV, radio, newspaper) forecasts are based on these.

The graphs are super for flying -- hourly wind speed and direction / temperature / percentage of sky cover / RH -- but wait folks, that's not all! (as the the "pitch men" say)

Plug in any zip code, and it is all there. The Forecast Discussion gives you some insight into where the forecast is shaky, how the various models agree and disagree, plus how and why the forecast is being "adjusted" as conditions change,

All this is in the box at the bottom of the page Additional Forecasts and Information.

Oops, the attendance list -- I'm going, guess I never actually said so; just sort of implied it.

Weather Channel site now shows either Isolated T-showers or Scaterred T-showers for Carmichaels, PA, for Wed thru Sat.  That forecast is different (worse) than it was yesterday.  Tomorrow it will be different again!
