Registrations are at about 75 as of now. This is much more than usual, there is usually a flurry of them in the 10 days or so before the meet. It remains to be seen how the economy will affect attendance. Safe travels, joyous fellowship and a roaring good time to all. Tom Hampshire

I had hoped to be able to make it this year, But sadly things did not work out and once again I am going to have to miss it. It always sounds like such fun and I miss seeing every one in the modeling world. So I wish everyone much fun. Maybe another time.

I hope you are getting more flying done then we are. We have T-storms all week. My hope was to learn the pattern before I went up, but looks like I will have to learn it while I am there. I will be looking for an instructor. ;D

I fully plan on being there. Just had back surgery 2 weeks ago and can't get the bleeding and seeping stopped. I may need a volunteer to change my dressing since I can neither see nor reach the spot. Any volunteers? I'd really appreciate it.

How many more maneuvers do you have to learn? Last year, I didn't know the hourglass or the 4 leaf at my first contest of the year

Been there, done that. :) I'll be happy to assist if you bring enough tape and compresses.

These next weeks will be fast for me, 6 days of school, then finals, then on Tuesday we leave for Brodak. Would have left on Sunday but my brother has 6th grade graduation on the 15th.

Yesterday was the first time since 4/5 that I was able to get out and fly. It was also the chance to get my take apart .15 carrier plane ready to test and pack for mailing to Carmichaels. Well, let's hope there are just a few more days to get the thing ready. Total frustration in getting it ready. However, even if the plane is a write off I will be there. I mention all this to those that have reservations about just showing up. Come with or without entries! You wont be sorry. A great learning experience, a chance to see some remarkable flying and the whole thing is simply FUN!

Thanks for the info and potential assist guys. Looks like the bleeding and seeping have finally stopped. I'll even get to start flying next week so maybe I won't look too bad when I get there. I will bring bandages and tape in case I need them. Hope I don't though. See ya all there. Hope you can make it Doc. I want to meet you.

Ya'll have fun! I hope to make it there maybe in the next few years. Being married to a school teacher makes it a little hard to plan(she is a testing coordinator). She'll be retiring soon, so maybe it will become a reality. I wish blue skys(and low wind) for you all!
