Bring a plane to Brodack ????
« on: June 11, 2009, 08:24:01 PM »
Hi guys, need some thoughts & help to make a decision. My dad and I are going to the flyin at Brodack for the first time. I'm trying to decide whether to take a plane for some fun flying or not? Being the first time at the event i'm not sure what to expect and if there is time for everything we want to accomplish. Also if anyone wants to share somethings that are a must see please throw in your ideas and thoughts. Also a special THANKS to all that make this web site a great spot for control line guys. Thanks Again !!!  Scott Bolton  H^^ H^^

I would be bringing a plane Scott if I were you.  I'm making my first trip this year and I'm going with 2 planes, Ares and Smoothie.

See you there H^^

Scott - In times past we used to try and fill every day til dark with official flights, and ran many, many events.  Found out that after about 7-8 hours on their feet, the judges lose their edge to fatigue.  So we try to finish most officials at about 2-3PM, with all 6 circles open for practice and fun flying after that.  So by all means bring something to fly.  Welcome aboard.  Tom H.
