Brian Gardner P&L Sets
« on: June 24, 2024, 09:26:44 PM »
Just got my P&L sets for a couple OS MAX-S .35S engines from Brian Gardner today. If you have never upgraded any engines to his P&L sets, you should give his stuff a try. He has done them for Fox.35s, several OS engines, Super Tigre .46, .60 and G-.61 to name a few. he does not stock any specific parts, but makes takes verbal orders and produces them in batches when he has enough commitments to purchase materials. This makes availability kind of spotty but well worth the wait. He is starting to make a run of Fox .35 parts, has plans for another ST G-51 run, but still needs more commitments for ST.60 sets, so if you have any interest for any of these, especial for the ST.60, drop him a line. he's in Australia, prices are pretty reasonable, and I got my sets quicker from Down under faster that my last CPAP supplies order from Kansas City, MO!! You can contact him through a PM here, just search out some of his threads, or by email, : briangardner_b1@yahoo.com.au

Now just gotta go pick out a couple of decent engine cores from my stash!!

How many more ST .60 requests does he need?  I was in for one, but if he is close maybe worth doubling up lol.  He just shipped an ST.46 set for me.  Kinda wishing I had ordered a couple lol.
I've started plenty...would be nice to finish something!!!

I didn't think to ask him that. I'm just posting this thread to try and generate some interest to see if he can get over the threshold. I am just getting one more because I wish I had gotten a second one before!! I think I got my first one from him when someone couldn't follow up on theirs.

Put mine together and bench ran it yesterday, used a new crank from Matt so I did have to hone the rod end to fit. Started 2nd flip and runs great, another excellent job by Brian!!!
Ray from Greensboro, North Carolina , six laps inverted so far with my hand held vertically!!! (forgot to mention, none level!) AMA# 902150

I'm kinda wishing I had gotten on the list for the 35S sets, but I was centered on the ST 46 and 60's.  Maybe I'll get ont he next 35S list  LL~
I did send him a note toput me down for two ST60 sets though...

Dennis,

I would PM Bryan and see if he has any unclaimed sets or sets someone backed out of.   Bryan had me down for 3 sets.  I went back and checked my PM and I had only said I was in for two rods firmly and might spring for a piston/liner set.  I ended up taking two rods and two piston/liner sets.   That would seem to indicate that, at least in my case, Brian has one piston/liner set left over that he thought I had ordered.
