What underwear has the most positive impact on flight scores in CLPA? Boxers? Briefs? (Gasp!) None? Does color matter? I mean -- if it'll bump my score up ten points I'll go for the leopard-print thong.

If I happen to see your boxers/shorts while you are flying that means I'm not watching the plane and if that means I'm not watching the plane you are getting zero points.

At least in free flight, Björn Borg underpants are good enough with classic airfoils like Benedek. With new carbon skinned LDA's & flappers, Diesel is clearly better. L

Actually, neither. A traditionally donned kilt gives the best advantage, setting the tone for your upcoming performance by making sure to face opposite the judges when bending over, stiff kneed, to pick up your handle.

Did I read correctly that someone previously mentioned wearing depends while flying, please verify. I guess it DEPENDS on how one might interpret it. Richard

I suspect that for some, rather than being a strategy, the Depends may have been found to be a necessity while attempting to maneuver through the pattern.

By comparison this is also an advantage of donning the kilt, similar to flying electric, you have much less cleanup afterwards.

Hey, we're asking about airplane color and engine sound, surely we need to investigate absolutely everything (except for actual flying ability and airplane trim, of course) that might affect your score.

And it is the beautiful world. Try to imagine everybody being absolutely normal. That world would be gray and boring...
