Help Indentify Old Garage Sale Airplane

Guys,
I need help ID this plane.  A co-worker knows I fly control line planes and had this plane he bought at a garage sale around 1990.  He gave it to me because he's going to move and he needed it out of the way.  Some specs:

WS = 49 inches
Chord = 12 1/4 inches
Length =  34 inches from nose to TE of rudder
Nose moment = 7 3/4 inches
Tail moment = 11 3/4 inches
Stab span = 22 inches
Stab/ele chord = 6 1/2 inches

McCoy 35 shiny case in very nice shape.
Veco 2 3/8 threaded wheels

Does anybody know who AMA 3278 is?  Is there a way to find out?

BTW, I know the prop is on backwards.  It sits just as it was given to me.

Yep,  Fox/Berkley Falcon 35.  Had one as a kid about '67 or '68.  Huge wing and weighed nothing so it as a floater.  Mine had a Johnson Stunt Supreme in it.

As far as the AMA number you should be able to get info through through AMA. I did that once when I saw a model on Ebay and suspected it was stolen. They gave me a name and I was able to varify it was indeed a legit sale. I think now they have to get the member's permission to give you the comtact info. Now if the member is passed, they still may be able to attach a name however they reissue vacated numbers and former owners are nolonger associated with it.

I think you're right.  It does look like a Falcon 35.  The tail has been "massaged" some though.  I'll send the AMA an email about AMA 3278.

Yeah, the builder 'futzed' with the vertical fin a bit, but it still looks like a Berkeley/Fox Falcon 35.  No clue as to the AMA number, although it could probably be traced via the Academy of Mostly ARFs.  Plans for this one may also be available via the same Park Flyer Headquarters.

Yep, somone cut the rudder back.  I had a Falcon .35 until its last flight at the old Gage Park Circle in Topeka.  Even flew it a VSC when Richard Byron pointed out I had thrust off on the engine.   Even then it was a fun plane to fly and was different with the rudder going up over the canopy.   Would like to build another one and do it right this time.  Still have the patterns and plans in the shop.  Even have a Fox .35 Redhead for it that I am trying to break in.   People think the Stunt .35 vibrates have not seen this Fox Redhead .35.
