Well, I'm sitting here waiting for parts to fix my air compressor and my new spray gun. The down side of ordering by mail. So I sat tonight and put inklines on my new flight box. Not that's boredom. I'm trying to decide if I want to put on a racing stripe when the stuff gets here.
Sigh...

come on Rancdy, I want to see pictures of the panel lines on the flight box! and you did have that spray gun shipped to me first right? After all you want me to help you set it up correctly,,,,,,, %^@
I know what youre talking about though, I am contemplating what I am goinng to airbrush on my new computer case I jsut got. I am building a new magic box and I ahve to figure out something to airbrush on it, why? well, cause I just have to. My computer now is airbrushed to look like a block of granite with Blue Pearlesant 3D flames on it. ITs ok but I have been looking at it for a couple years, time to do a new one. Got any suggestions? I thought about an airbrushed,, ummm female shape, but well the 14 and 16 yeear old daughters of my girlfreind frequient this room so probably not a good idea ...

Hey Randy
Sounds like fun to me---Putting ink lines on a flight box really reflects the artisitc expression many of us enjoy in CL stunt.
Or should we just get ARC flight boxes too. Grin S?P S?P

Steve,
What, are you channeling David?
Mark,
I'll shoot a picture when it's done. Inklines on a flightbox are great. They camouflage the mistakes. I had to, uh, redesign the thing when I realized that the starter setup I ended up with wouldn't fit in the space I made. So, paint and a little ink and it looks like it's supposed to look like that.
I just ordered the stuff to upgrade the kid's computer. His just won't handle the huge samples he uses anymore (he's an audio engineering major at school). So, new motherboard, chip(s), memory and video card along with 2 new DVD/CD writers for transfering samples and such. Parts should be here tomorrow. Besides, he needed a new vid card, more memory and a faster chip if he wanted to dominate in Tabula Rasa.
I have no suggestions on the computer case. I have a PC Power and Cooling case that's black and gray. It sits in a cabinet in the desk and I hardly ever see it. There is an SCSI RAID box sitting on the desk that also has my DVD drives in it. I suppose I could paint that. Hmmm...

Randy,
I'm a unique guy who knows you are a unique guy. So why not do something completely different?
Well, at least prior to 1936..
How about a fur covered computer case?
It would be fun to do, and a constant conversation piece. Who knows, you might decide to do your
next model's letters and numbers in fur!

Larry,
You ever see the movie Dumb and Dumber...
Never mind.

Larry,
Maybe it's boredom that even makes me want to make a reply, but I know some people who say they would really make good use of that set. I don't question their artistic appreciation, I question the fact that they don't drink coffee or tea. Sometimes the mystery's of life are not always answered or easily comprehended. A mild sedative such as aspirin, will sometimes lessen the intensity of boredom. I always seem to find that taking the aspirin with ginger ale or IBC Cream Soda lends interest to the moment. I need to do something constructive right now, or go skin one of my daughters' stuffed animals.

Oh Yesssss!!!!!, fake fur and tiny little lava lamps instead of LED's

Mark,
Go with flames. Flames are always good.

Still no compressor parts. I'm told they are on backorder, but should be in Real Soon Now.
I was at Harbor Freight at lunch today. They had a 30 gallon, 3hp compressor that delivers upt to 6.5CFM at 90lbs on sale for $150. Man, I wish I would have just bought that instead of spending half that much on parts for a 10 year old compressor, no matter how good it has bee.
Sigh...
I spent the evening drawing on a new PA plane. That's worthwhile, I guess.

You could always cancel the order and get the new compressor. While waiting on some minor stuff for the Redskin I managed to assemble a Brodak Baby Flight Streak which will be powered with a Brodak .049. While checking motot spacing, I noticed on the little engine it says made in China, same with the .061. Will post more on the combo later. Have fun, DOC Holliday
