On November 12, I sent a check to PAMPA to re-enlist after a 35 year hiatus. I was anxious to read Les McDonald's History of the Stiletto. On the 18th, I sent an email to the gentleman who handles subscriptions. I asked if they had received my check. He responded saying that they had 200 envelopes not opened and 400 envelopes opened but not processed. He was recovering from Rotator cuff surgery. He said mine might be in the latest batch of 200. As of today, December 1st, the check has not cleared my bank.
So, in case anyone here is wondering why their renewal is late, here is the answer.
