I have just been informed that Bob Whitely of Tucson Arizona is in the hospital. He had a heart attack Friday Morning, had immediate surgery. He had 3 stints and a balloon put in. He is resting comfortably. The next 24-48 hours are critical. Please keep he and his wife Jan in your thoughts and prayers. I will try to update when information is available but I am sure if you contact any of the guys in Tucson they may have more information. But in the meantime, say a prayer and have good positive thoughts for Bob for a quick recovery.

Hope things are going ok, get well soon Bob.

Bob and I have our differences but I wish him a speedy recovery. He is just a great modeler. Gods speed Bob.

Far too much of this occurring among the modeling fraternity lately. We of course are all pulling for Bob, and will be going to visit him as soon as allowed.
Bob was among the first to welcome me back to CL after 20 years in FF. He was one of the judges in the first Stunt contest I ever flew in, and he generously offered many helpful tips. A fierce competitor (and former National champion), he is also among those who mentors newcomers.

Hope things will go ok for you Bob.

My prayers and wishes for Bob's speedy recovery...

Hey Bob,
You can't build airplanes in the hospital. The smell of the glue and dope disturbs everybody.
So c'mon hurry up and get out of there. There's a nice chair in the shade waiting for you at the field. Better therapy than an old hospital any day.
Seriously Take care of yourself do what the Doctors say and c'mon back as soon as possible.
