I must have missed something.  Where did the weather info come from?

When I walked out to the shop this morning at about 4:45 it was almost 60 and pretty nice.. Couple hours later it had dropped 25 deg and started raining.. They are telling us to get ready for a major ice storm with accumulations of more than an inch.. Trees and powerlines are expected to take a beating with many power outages. Bad part is it's not suppose to get above freezing till late next week, should be an interesting weekend..

Bob,

Yea, we dropped into the deep freeze here. Lows in the teens and high under 30F. While not much if you live in Minnesota, it's pretty unusual here. Tough with humidity hovering around 75%. And not a snow plow in the county. Brrrrr!! It is funny watching folks that have never had to deal with icy roads - pounding rain yes, but not ice - trying to get up the hill in front of my office. Pretty comical.

We have been having our "usual" weather, I guess.  In other words, we just don't know what the weather will be!  Could be 70* and sunny then an ice storm with in as day it seems.  But, today has turned out to be one of the very prettiest days I can remember in a LONG time!  The sun is unusually bright and the temps have risen dramtically!  It's supposed to get to the 70s and stay around that all weekend.  With little to no chances of rain.  Now to get my oldest out to fly!  Or, maybe someone can fly down, over, or up here and fly with me! **) **) **)

My weather window just tells you guys that the weather at home is great- while I'm stuck in Lehi, UT at 12 degrees, snow and icy roads. I hope my boy remembers to mow the lawn!!

At least we aren't getting hit like the North West did.  But, it is something to walk crossing duty one day in light jacket.  Then the next day in 20 degree temps.   Afternoon I started early as I figured the kids would be released a few minutes early.  Nothing like ice crystals hitting you in the face.  Also a half inch of rozen stuff to walk around in.  Finally left 5 minutes early as parking lot was empty by then.  As I told the kids it could be worse.  DOC Holliday

I don't have anything to add.  I'm just posting a message to see what it's like outside before I go get the mail.

I can't believe it.  It's Jan. 13, almost 10:00 at night, and it's over 55* outside!  6 years ago, we had a foot of ice and snow on the ground at this time!  LOL!!

Gotta fly, and soon!
