Might have to fast forward but Bob gets a round of applause for landing on the front row all alone with his Bear.

Watched it this morning before work. You can tell how touched he was! Wish I could have been there in person.

The video says 2009 but I believe that was the 2004 nats that happened after the 2004 WCs? That was huge field of competitors that year.
I have that 19 point piece of paper in my shop. :) :)

Not sure Doug. It's how Windy labeled the video. 😕
It's part of the 2009 NATs series.
Maybe someone can confirm.

The 2004 NATs might have been the best and most competitive stunt contest ever held. I came in a pretty competitive third and I still think that was a better week for me in most respects than when I won it in 06 or came in second by a whisker in 08.
2004 was definitely the *first* year Bear got his 19, by himself in the first row. I think he got a 19 again later, but maybe that was not the front row, or at least he wasn't by himself.

IIRC He got 19 points in 2003 on the front row with Windy and his B-25. It was a different model though.
