Apparently, the World is Small Enough
« on: February 01, 2025, 01:31:51 PM »
This was Jake Moon and I when we met in Singapore last week. I never thought that I would致e met another fellow member in person.

We were holding the sample rib of a Fancherized Twister that I made, as we were talking about producing laser cut short kits to order. We will have some updates regarding this matter later.

Best,
Kafin

Just curious

Where was the location in Singapore where the pic was taken?

Happy you two got together.  Doesn't look like the young lad I met at VSC many years ago. D>K

I used to look on a Singapore Control Line forum some years back as there was a poster there that did some great build logs with lots of photos on at least two of the kits I have - the United was one and I think the profile Nobler was the other. But it's inactive now as far as I can see. His build logs may still be around.

It's great you two are flying the C/L flag though. I hope your laser kit business gets up and running.

I also remember a great hobby shop in Singapore but can't remember the name now. Used to sell O.S. and Enya engines. Hope it's still around. Maybe Singahobby ?

How cool is that! I spent a little time with Jake last August in Muncie and was impressed by everything about him. He has style and presence, along with a very cultured demeanor. It's easy to see that he's one of those guys that just gets stuff done. The Moon boys gotta be proud of this one!
I see people my age out there climbing mountains and zip lining and here I am feeling good about myself because I got my leg through my underwear without losing my balance
