Blackhawk 1/2A Kits with Built-up Wings?
« on: May 21, 2010, 11:04:26 AM »
I'm looking through the Blackhawk web page for a model with built-up wings sized for an 049.  Preferably something that'll fly on a reedie, but I'll use my one Norvel if that's what I have to do.

I can't tell!  Are there any, or are they all flat or shaped solid balsa?  There's one or two that look like they may be built up, but they may be shaped solid, and the listings don't say.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

1/2A warbird series by walt M
This is some of them. The listing on Sam's stuff and hobbies is a bit easier to tell which are built up.
If you have specific models you wish to ask about feel free to ask.

Currently we offer the War bird series listed under Walt Musciano designs and out Custom Special ( listed under AC) can be flown on that .049 engine but it is a little heavier that what you might want. We flew one on an O K .74 cub and it did very well.
