Black tiger cowl
« on: February 15, 2020, 04:14:44 PM »
Does anyone have any pictures of how they built the cowl on the Black Tiger? The Laser Works kit came with a 1/2 thick front cut out but I am not sure how to use it. Any pictures or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

HI, I suppose you don't need pictures anymore, I just saw this thread. I can send a picture of my cowl for the black tiger if you still wanted it. I did it probably the wrong way, but I think it will still look good when together.

It can't look much worse than the original Berkeley kit.  :)

That was the first large built-up fuselage kit I attempted as a teen.  Two pieces were to be soldered together and many of the many pieces were corroded when the buyer got around to building.  Boy, do I love modern kits!
