Billy G's Mega Ringmaster?
« on: August 23, 2011, 10:53:21 PM »
 Hey Billy G,

Whatever happened with the super size Ringmaster? Did you ever get it done? The last I remember you were in the final painting stages.

Sell your multi-million dollar home, and move away from there (e.g. Jeb, from Beverly Hillbillies).

Seriously, Amarillo or Waco areas have some of the best property values in the country. And no
snow and cold and wet and less traffic.. Close enough to the contests too.

Good luck, Bill.

PS - Tucson has one of the best model airplaner communities and CL flying fields, if you can take the heat and lack of rain..

He likes Tejas, but I was hoping he'd get a little closer(Arkansas) so I could tap into his machinist skills! :##

OK, John has let the cat out of the proverbial bag so here is the straight scoop. Sophie and I are pulling up stakes after 41 years and moving to Tyler Texas. We hope to be in our new home this Spring. There is still much to do here before we can. 41 years of collecting is an awful lot of packing.  LOL

Amarillo has a bunch of snow and cold. Waco, not so much, we even get snow and ice, mostly ice in the DFW area.

So what your saying is the mega Ringmaster will now be called the "Mini Baby Ringmaster" being that your going to Texas.
All kidding aside Had to do that move/dejunk/clean up before not much fun but the open the box and find the surprise was fun.
Good luck and have fun,  Maybe it will be easier to get to VSC each year.

The South?
Low Taxes?
Low unemployment?
Low wealth distribution?
Job growth?

Now who in their right mind would want to live in such a backwards Southern place with those qualities?

A real American!

Uncle Bill,
Welcome! We will finally meet in person.
Bill Lee lives in the Tyler area and is an active member of the Dallas club. He makes it to almost all the meetings.

I just hope that you have a big enough semi to carry all your goodies.

What few times I have been in Texas, mainly Dallas area I have seen a 12 inch snow fall the first week of a school session for Ma Bell.   Then a Thanksgiving weekend with sleet and ice.   And one day when the circles could only be accessed thru the ditch and no fencing, was flying all afternoon.   Started cleaning up the planes and put my jacket on.  By the time I got to what used to be a Dairy Queen by the training center I had my overcoat and stocking cap on.    H^^

Good luck with the move and all Bill. y1

Hopefully when the dust settles we'll get a chance to see the Texas size Ringmaster. On another note, this will give you a good chance to find all the stuff that you've always put where you wouldn't lose it. ;D
