I just received a call from John Hill with information about Bill's massive stroke.  Sorry, not much information yet but will add information here as it becomes available.

I've known Bill since I was 17 (51 years).  One day 50 years ago at Whittier Narrows he changed my life with a single act of kindness.  No words can express my gratitude.  Love you man!

When I first met Bill in 1971 I thought he was just "one of those characters that fly stunt".
As the years passed and we spent more time together I found him to be a real friend that I enjoyed being around.

I have always liked Bill but every since the 2010 Worlds we have been more like family than friends, Bill is an amazing guy.
