Heading for Brodak's
« on: June 08, 2016, 08:13:48 PM »
This weekend 7 intrepid Tulsa Gluedobbers are driving to Brodak's Fun Fly. Joe Gilbert, Tim Tipton, Elwyn Aud, De Hill, Bob Reeves, Doug Ames, and Tom Martin will make the trip.

Tom Martin is getting rid of His stuff. He has a tremendous amount of engines and props, and kits. He also has a whole bunch of 1/2a arfs, engines, props, glow heads, and accessories.

When you get to Brodak's flying field, go to the pavilion that has the Oklahoma state flag flying. Tom and his stuff will be there.

Elwyn and I left Tulsa at 6 am this morning. We missed the vacuum cleaner museum north of Rolla Missouri and continued on to Indianapolis and encountered the dreaded orange barrels. (complete with construction) We sat in stalled traffic on I-70 for an hour, and never found out what the hangup was. We made it to Columbus, Ohio, and after several misses finally found an overpriced room at La Quinta.

Tomorrow will be better.
