Note, our field has been totally resurfaced. Cracks fixed, edges repaired, slurrey coated, repainted. It is as good as any I have heard of. Only remaining drawback is the turbulence off the trees. But then you can relax in their shade. Tradeoffs. Also, don't forget Warren's after-Saturday Pig-in.

The pres and treasurer of the LVCB will be there both days. I'll be attending Sunday only. Can't wait to see everyone, and meets plenty of new people!

I'm hoping I can make it. I have to work if that is available.... Might try the beginners pattern in front of people I don't know. That's kind of a scary thought.
Of course there is an f3f contest the same weekend, and an f3j contest the same weekend, both of which would be more comfortable for me to fly in.
But who needs comfort. That might be over rated.

Remember Chris the people you will be flying in front of had to do it early in their ventures of this stunt world.   In fact you will find most are very helpful once the contest is done.  So go relax and have fun.  Wasn't so far I would be there.

The K.O.T.R.C. had our monthly meeting last night, It was decided that this year at the Palmer we will have FREE donuts, coffee, hotdogs, chips,and water to all participants.

So please come out and celebrate the life of one of the greatest men ever to hold the handle.

Saturday is looking more and more like a work day for me....
I should know by Wednesday for sure.
I'm off Friday though, and if it's not super crowded, that is my regular C/L day at Whittier. Maybe I can get a few flights in and meet a few folks Friday if nothing else.
