Last month i surfed thru a page that had a picture of a large Magician, about 60 sized I think. Does anyone know where I can find anything about it and plans for it? Thanks

Bob Brookins in Des Moines has such a Magician and flies it at regional contests. His has a ST .46. Don't know about plans. Unfortunately Bob doesn't do computers.......

Pat King (see the Vendor's section) offers plans and laser-cut 900 sq. in. Magician kit.

Bob,
Good to see you on the forum. Contest at Signal Seekers this weekend. I will give Bob Brookins a call and confirm but I believe he said that he just enlarged the plans and built the airplane.
EDIT: Just talked with Bob and he is sending me the plans that he built that version from. Touch base with me in couple weeks and I can send you a copy. Sounds like Brodak can Laser cut the ribs for the wing as well.

If you go to Pat kings site go to the 60 sized models. You will find a 60 sized Ringmaster 60 sized Flite Streak and a 60 sized Magician. I built the 3 of them as prototypes and a good friend of mine now has them. How do they fly, well if he took them to a meet he would be more than competitive in the profile category. I used an Enya 60 Mk3 on it simply to prove to the ST 60 lovers what they missed because of an ounce difference in weight. Starts and runs perfectly out of the box and is immune to all of any of the Super Tiger nuances The Ringmaster uses a K&B 60. Not a Sportster 65
The Flite Streak uses an evolution 60. Built in a 46 sized case it was an unloved jewel until Horizon cancelled them, then everyone seemed to want one.

I agree with your assesment of the Evo .60. I observed a good bit of the prototype testing by some of the Adamissin family. It was a strong motor with a very nice run. bob.
