Post by: John Stiles on May 05, 2009, 05:53:27 PM
It's been doing this off and on for several days....there was an old dead walnut tree, nuthin but a snag....it took off to growin again! That tree is over 100 years old ??? I tried to mow the flying field, and was on the last couple rounds when a big bolt of lightning streaked overhead %^ j1

Been raining in Tulsa for two weeks, yard is standing in water and so are all 3 circles. Grass outside the areas I was able to mow is a foot tall and growing, no way will we be able to mow until it has about a week to dry out. Enough already....

Did a walk-about on the farm a while ago...rain has subsided for the time being. The flying field is beautiful, and high/dry.....but my yard has a river running through it. Picked up breakfast right in the yard; several nice bluegills! H^^ LL~

The weather has been great here for while now, but only flew once because of baseball.  Starting tonight it is supposed to rain and rain for a few days.

It's dry, dry, dry here in southern NM.. how about pushing some of that Oklahoma precipitation west
to New Mexico? (Hold the tornadoes..)

Our CL field in Las Cruces has been sold and they are building what looks like another car or house
trailer lot there. Just what we need..
