Post by: stunt1 on May 22, 2009, 10:40:35 PM
Hello to All and a Very Happy and Healthy Memorial Day Weekend,

Let us not forget that this weekend is beyond BBQ and opening the summer house. It's our chance to honor all those men and women who have given of their life, lives and time to give us the "Freedom" we all have and love so much.

Just a reminder of the Big Jim Memorial Stunt Contest to be held on the last Sunday of the month, May 31st at Flushing Meadows Corona Park Model Flying Field.
We have four circles available , 2 grass and 2 paved. The Parks Dept and Neal Beekman have done a "Beautiful Job" to get the Field ready for our Contest Day. The back Grass Circle will be available all day for practice. AMA Cards a must and Safety Thongs also. There will be no appearance points.

We will be holding Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert AMA/PAMPA Stunt contested out to three places. We will also be holding ARF Stunt with all Classes combined.

There will also be a "Concors de Elegance Award" voted on by the Pilots and The Fly-Off between the winners of Intermediate, Advanced and Expert to determine the winner of the "Big Jim Memorial" High Point Award.

Morning Prayer and The National Anthem will be done after the Pilots Meeting which should be around 9 to 9:15 AM. There will be a "Porta Potty" for your comfort and plenty of restaurants close by to eat at.
If you have any questions please call me at either @ 718-463-1755 or my Cell 917-518-0295.

Looking forward to seeing you all there and Please don't forget the GSCB Contest and Tail Gate Swap Meet this Sunday at the Pal Park Site in Palisades NJ.
