Title: Bi-Slobbin'.....now with a Fox .35 pulling
Post by: Shug Emery on May 30, 2014, 07:36:35 AM
Spent some alone time with the Bi-Slob and working on getting a feel for this crazy plane. Took the OS .35 off and bought a Fox .35 and put that on the nose. So now I am on my way to Slobbin'
First time I saw this plane on a video I was charmed. Thought it would be a good trainer to get back on the handle but found that it is a unique flying experience so say the least. It did get me flying inverted though.....
Feels so cool to get a hover on a control line plane.
Getting back into this hobby has been a blast for sure.

Haaaa....I would love to come down and fly with you fellers someday. Seems very active and all of you seem to embrace CL deeply. That is so cool and encouraging.

Way to go Shug!!   #^
Thank for that. Always good to go home in one piece!

Yes Marcus, without meeting Shug in person, just makes you love the big homely character.   Also that Slob is going to spoil him.

Homely))))....and I thought I was a new CL Sex-Symbol  #^
Well no one wants to go out to lunch with a pretty boy! My Dad used to say that about Robert Goulet. One of my favorite quotes of his.
I really am liking that Bi-Slob for sure. Just good ol' fun. Hope to fly tomorrow.
Today I am cooking 15 racks of baby back ribs for a party we are hosting. Mmmmmmmmm.

Shug,
As we showed in the FM article, the Slob was designed around a Fox .35 and Fox .25. Only the Fox gives the desired break. Glad you are getting back at it.

Get together with Neal and say hi for me.

It made all the difference putting the Fox on it. You did a real fun and great design there! I'm giddy with it.

Haaa....I am hoping to just compete in Beginners Stunt sometime.
I would love to film some Nats stuff.

Mount some gear on the top wing with a skid on top of the vert. stab.

Double your fun!

Has anyone done that? Sounds too fun now......

Yes....I am. I have time right now to get out as it is my slow time before Summer gigs hit.
Thanks!
