flying buddies

Looking to see if anybody flies around my area or anyone how has a place to fly around santa barbara to san luis obispo area, I live in lompoc ca and driving down to whittier narrows or sepalveda basin to fly is either 140 to 170 miles each way and thats not good just for a few flights but will be done if I absolutely have to.
