Title: Bi Slob balance point
Post by: Bill Hodges on May 29, 2008, 04:51:35 PM
Guys, I am just finishing up a Brodak ARC Bi Slob.  I have searched the instruction book from front to back and can find no mention of the balance point.  Right now, it is balancing dead on the spar.  Is that a good jumping off point or do I need to make some adjustment before the first flight?  Any help will be appreciated.

You mean there's supposed to be a balance point?   ;D  I don't know that I can even say Bi-Slobs require any kind of trim... hmm...

Bill,
Checked three of them from our club.
Spar seems to be the preferred (or just happens to be  y1) location.

I just pulled out the plans that where in Fling Models and it is 1/2" behind center of the spar. I don't know if thats where everyone is flying them at that but thats what the plans say.
