Bi-Slob'n RingMasters at Brodaks ???
« on: June 25, 2007, 05:49:51 PM »
I was over at another circle when these to RM's went up. Can someone explain how they connected the lead outs to make these things dance like this?

Anyone have a close up pic?

It is very easy to do. connect a string to the tail and pull it toward you as you stall the plane. It will hang out like a B/Slob

Make sure you don't try this stunt with solid leadouts though. Mike Palko also flew one demo with a string tied to the outboard wingtip of his Ringmaster.

I see a line looks like it goes to the tail. Wish I could have been closer to this demo. HB~>

Tha Sabre Dance was done a LOOOONNNNG time ago, yes, even before the BiSlob.

Lot's of ot thrust and proper power (or lack of) and it can be done without the 3rd line. I have seen it done with Ringmasters, in fact, there was an article  in "American Modeler" years back with ringmasters with clown noses.

You can do the "dance' with almost any airplane.

The first Sabre Dance that I saw was with the "Whichaway" by Walt Williams, but again it was done before that too.
