Hello Guys
As some of you know I have posted a wanted ad in the classifieds for a Merco.35 Connecting rod and NVA. I recived an email from a guy called ROGER CHISSICK from england offering the parts in mint condition. He wanted 120GBP and I told him that for that money I could get a whole engine.Later he lowered the price to 20GBP with shipping but he wanted money sent via money gram or western union. when I asked for his address he said to send it to his son in Nigeria. That raised red flags for me and I googled his name and found a site where they say this guy is a scammer so WATCH OUT if you get an email from this guy. I don`t know how he got my email. Here is a link to the site where I got the info.

CRAIGSLIST has a notice in the heading of their postings warning about ANY transactions asking for western union or moneygram.
"Avoid scams and fraud by dealing locally! Beware any deal involving Western Union, Moneygram, wire transfer, cashier check, money order, shipping, escrow, or any promise of transaction protection/certification/guarantee" Craigslist warning
But as PT Barnum said, "There's one born every minute!" they keep posting so there must enough unaware people out there that make it profitable for the scammer.
