Best wheels I have seen

CLICK HERE---->    <----CLICK HERE

These are the best wheels I have ever seen. Ask for Jarvis and be sure to tell him you saw them here. This is a brand new product. While talking to Bob Hunt I was turned onto these. They weigh 8 grams each, same weight as the light flight and look 10 times better. Replaceable tires. They have a lot of other stuff we can use as well; Just be sure to tell them you saw them here.

Those are kewl looking.

I went looking on their web site to see what sizes they have, and found absolutely no wheels at all.  Dunno what that means, exactly...

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

I visited the website and snooped around a little bit.  It isn't obvious where to look for wheels, but if you do a product search for AW 57 (the part number), it takes you to a results page.  Click on "Essential Parts for Small Electric Planes (Part 1 of 4)" and it takes you right to the wheels section.  It looks like they range in size from 1-1/4" up to 3".

I don't think so the foam is denser than the foam on the wheels you are using now. Also they are replaceable.

I could not find them on the website. Called Jarvis, mentioned SH. Good News: Sounds like a good product. Bad News: Only available at this time in 2 1/4" and 2 1/2" diameter.  He said that due to the demand for these wheels they were considering other sizes including 1 3/4"and 2". It will still be a few months if and when they would be available but the decision to tool up and have those made will be based solely on the demand. 8)

I've got a couple sets of the earlier style Maxx aluminum hub wheels with the wider and more square-ish tire cross section, very nice wheels. These new ones are way cool too, thanks for the info Sparky. y1

Maxx Products catalog shows light wheels with aluminum hubs in sizes from 1.25" up to 4.5".  The AW57 (2.25") and AW64 (2.5") are called "ultra light", but the others are almost as light.

For instance, AW200 is 2" dia. and weight 0.78 oz/pair.

They are now on their web site.
I bought several pair this morning.

Also if interest for the electric fans is the new arming switch system with a momentary switch already integrated/attached for a no spark arming plug attachment. I also bought several of these.

Check them out!

I used the wider type for the last year. Beautiful hubs, but the hard core in the rubber tire  are not so good for nice landings in stunt on pavement.I replaced the rubber with rubber cut from Dave Brown Light Flight wheels .Just cut around the grey hub with an exacto type knife and any shaping can easily be done with a sanding drum on your Dremel. Presto  The best of both worlds. Fancy aluminum hubs on Dave Brown tires. Keith

These are brand new and unless you bought your wheels in the last month they are not the same thing. Paul Walker I am sure will chime in when he gets his. Absolutely the best!

I'm aware of that thank you.I just wanted to mention the option of retreading them with foam wheels of another make.

I do have some of these new ones in the mail already, just because they are available and I can't resist buying stuff like this .I imagine that my addiction is pretty common around here. Keith

The link that Tim posted takes you right to the new wheels...but you do have to scroll down. The cheapest ones are at the bottom of the page, as expected. Mike Haverly used the plastic version (bottom of the page) for the last few years...they're really inexpensive and very light. I know that's a "fail" for many...  ;) Steve

Hub has deep groove to sustain heavy side load,

I use the cheap plastic ones that Steve mentions on a Ringmaster.  The tires pop back onto the wheels really easily.  I know this, because they'll come off from the side load they get when I start the engine.

They're nice wheels otherwise, but you'll never get full appearance points with 'em.
