How big of a package? How much is if worth? How fast do you want to get t there?

Personally, I'd send it "Priority Internationally" and insure it.

Put the parts inside a sturdy plastic bag, box it up and send via USPS. Sadly, the box will weigh about as much as your parts.  I assume you are sending samples for reverse engineering, the rod will be duplicated, fitted, and returned, so that may get you a break on tariffs.  D>K Steve
