Mike,

Thanks for your service on behalf of the stunt community.  It's people like you that make stunt available to the largest segment of modelers, those that don't design their own but love to craft them from the "pieces of their planes" you've provided for some time.

Ted you have no idea how much those words mean to me coming from you.  I always looked to you as an ICON of this hobby and the numerous contributions you made to it.  My contribution was minor compared to those of yours and others like you.  My decision was not arrived at easily but it was my time to vacate.

My hope is that there will be others you will come along and keep things going as our generation passes.  It is too great a thing and more importantly too much fun to die.

Thank you again Ted,

Mike

Mike,
I am sorry to see you "toss in the towel" as I have really enjoyed working with you.

Over the years I feel we have gone from business associates to life-long friends. The many videos you have done which you graciously allowed me to put in the RSM Distribution web site were some of the best I have ever seen. They were always spot on, never boring and refreshing as they always recognized that they were not "the only way" to accomplish the build. One of the worst things that happened when I sold RSM and retired was that our business relationship ended. Thankfully we have been able to continue our wide ranging discussions and the sharing of ideas about how to build lighter, stronger and better performing model aircraft. I certainly look forward to taking with you as we both encounter "the down hill slide to senility". Bet you are glad that I am older than you so very likely to hit the bottom of the hill first. I'll try to let you know what you will encounter.

I know the control line portion of model aircraft will miss your presence and total professionalism. I wish you well in your new endeavors.

Eric,

I am truly humbled by your words.  The feeling is mutual and and I am a much better person for have known and worked with you over all those years.  I have and will cherish the friendship between us on that downhill trip to senility as you so eloquently put it.  I look forward to many more conversations with you regardless of the topic until that old engine between our shoulders refuses to turn over anymore.

I still think you should write that book we talked about.  A good title for it might be " Adventures with Eric and the planes I have built over the phone."  I guarantee it would be a best seller.

Talk to you soon old friend.

Mike
