I am building a couple of electrics just for the fun of it. Where is the best place to buy 3 and 4 cell batteries with Deans connectors and balancing plug?
Thank you
Mike

No matter where you buy from they will come with balance connectors. I believe Thunderpower is the only one that will give you the option for deans connectors attached . Most places like Hobby King will sell the batteries with XT-60 connectors attached. You can either remove them (that's what I used to do when I used to buy batteries from them) and attach the deans yourself,or you might find someplace selling XT-60 to deans adapters. Hobby King and China Hobbies are 2 popular places on the RC forums for batteries. I am not sure if RSM or Brodak still have batteries. I used Thunderpower for about the last 5 or 6 years. I am sure others will add to this . It would also help if you tell us what size batteries that you want.

I've always had good service from these guys:

Mike,
You didn't say what size ship you are building but for general fun fly you can use the Glacer Batteries (https://www.buddyrc.com/products/glacier-30c-1800mah-4s-14-8v-lipo-battery-1?variant=31969027096662) they are good price and quality but weigh a bit more than the Thunder Power. So if weight is critical look at the TP pack.

A lot of places to buy including Amazon.
I think the deans are hard to find on all batteries. Most all have the XT60 so why change it? It works and the weight difference won’t make that much difference.
Have fun.

If you go to cut the XT60 off the battery, don't cut both wires at once LOL. LL~

All of Brodak batteries(except the two smalllest) have Deans connectors.

I'm using Hobby King Nano Tech or Zippy Compacts, I have 2 Compact 2750 4s that are 5 years old and still going.

here you go Mike.
I have used these batteries for years now. Both in planes and in boats.

Thats because Deans plugs are widely regarded as trash compared to XT60s.

The reason I am looking for the batteries with he Deans connector is because several years ago I Bought a few electric systems from Eric Rule and everything was prewired with Deans. Just trying to match what I have. I have never used them and thought I might give electric a try with a couple of profiles I am building.
Thank you all for the help.
