Nashville bomber knocked my phone out.
« on: December 28, 2020, 07:08:06 AM »
I found that I don't get calls from certain phones. Checked ATT and they said it was due to the bombing. I can call out but some others can't call in. The next door neighbor can call in but not my son 30 miles away. So if anyone has tried to call me and couldn't ( I don't know why you would) try my email or a PM here.
I may be wrong but I doubt it.

This sounds like an average day in the life of somebody who is T-Mobile impaired. I had to walk to the center of the cul-de-sac to get one bar of connectivity. My neighbor has T-Mobile and says the same, after all these years. So their performance hasn't improved on our street in 7+ years. Worked a treat at the T-Mobile store, of course. Had zero bars anyplace in Tennessee when I was there in 2012. Changed to Verizon and I got a call (while driving down the canyon into Death Valley) asking about the NW Skyraider's meeting that night...nope, I wouldn't be attending!

This might be justification for breaking your contract and jumping ship! My fishing buddy has AT&T, and it's never stellar, but better than T-Mobile by a long shot.  HB~> Steve

Some people don't believe me when I say it doesn't matter which company you have your cell phone service with,  they all use the same circuits.   A lot depends on the towers on where they are situated.  Places here in Kansas I couldn't even call home and vice versa, but go a few miles and call any where and get through. If it doesn't matter which company you're signed up with, why does one company work so much better than the other? I think the company that owns the towers have priority for their calls? T-Mobile is nearly useless out here, while I almost always have connectivity with Verizon. Same telephone, OBTW.   y1 Steve
