Vincent... how do you like it? Or is this the reason you are looking for other engines?

Various Fox 40's, Magnum 36XLS, Thunder Tiger 36, and half a dozen other Asian clones, OS 37H heli engine, and maybe a few more.  None of them were designed for CL stunt, so you either have to adapt to their high rpm habits or do some significant work on them.

A good old Siper Tigre 40 would do the trick. They can be found.

The HP 40 is one of the lightest if not the lightest of the twin ball bearing 40's.  (9.4 oz per catalog listing)  They have been set up to run well for CL Stunt.  They are available from MECOA at

The OS 46 SF came in a -S version for CL and there was a 40 size of that motor, but I don't know if it came in the CL version.  The 46 is stout but not light and the 40 would be heavier....  FWIW

Vincent,

The OS 46LA-S is available, reasonable in price, and just about ready to go stock out of the box.

A bit larger than 0.40 cu in, but easier to use than the 40LA according to many comments.

A chip muffler, low pitch prop, 10/10/10 fuel, and go...

Thanks for the replies, friends

To Dick Fowler:

The Enya is everything I need

It is the only BB motor I have, just curious about what
else is out there, and now I know
