Title: Battery powerdd benchtop power supply

I wanted a small benchtop power supply that didn't need AC power. So I built one as shown in the photos. Used a buck/boost regulator with display, AA battery box (8 cells), both from Amazon. Mounted using aluminum angle velcro'd to the battery box, and added rubber feet to tilt at an angle. Output is 0.5 to 30V. Adjustable current limit 0 to 2A.

You would use this at the field where there are no 110 plugs?
