Looking for the details?
Nothing in the events section.

Me too. Have a guest flying in for it. Should be around the middle of October.

Doug Patterson submitted the sanction application just today. Probable date is Oct 18-19.

Thanks Ty. Hope you can make it again this year. As Bill said, it will be Oct. 18,19, 2014. I think we will go back to skill classes in Unlimited Profile. We may have to drop maybe OTS AND N-30 to get all the events scheduled for Sat. done. It always seems to take a while longer to complete a skill event versus an open event. However, we would like to keep'em all. Even if we dropped OTS AND N-30, we will still have: Unlimited Profile(BIAE), Classic(Open), and War Bird Stunt(Open) on Sat. Sunday will be PA.(BIAE).
To those that are coming I would appreciate some input about this. I'm going to announce the contest in the events section in a general way and give more specific info. when Bill gets back with me, and input from you guys. Hoping a bunch of yawl can come, 'cause yawl always give us a good time.
Next year I'll be a resident of the state of GA. However, I'll still be a very active member of DVIII and DV. The Baton Rouge contest will continue to go on as usual on the 3RD weekend of Oct. Brent Rogillio will be the CD, Tommy Mansur, and myself will be the assist. CD'S.

I think someone was planning on coming with a N30 plane. Not sure but my play a factor if you drop N30.
We plan on putting Classic and N30 together at our contest like they do at other contest.

I will be bringing a mystery guest, maybe a contestant, with me.

Mike I hope the mystery guess is indeed a contestant! Paul we will keep the N-30 event since we also run it together with Classic. I believe we will keep OTS too. I looked back over our event list from last year and it looks like we had one entry in OTS and (2) in N-30. Last year the Sat. morning rain delayed the start over two hours. It made for a long day. I was not carrying a watch so I lost track of time, and as I was getting ready to start the War Bird event Mr. Don Hutchinson reminded me it was well after 4:30PM. I said "Whaaat....? So we called it a day and put War Bird on the next day.

Only 04:30 PM, I remember when it got so dark that we wound up tossing coins to decide a couple of contests.
