Aircraft Spruce & Specialty is an excellent source and will cut to size & ship promptly.

I have always received great service from National Balsa who also sells plywood

stop at the Toledo booth and get great deals on stuff also (but go on Friday morning)

I saw some in an Ace hardware store today AND some really good looking sheet balsa. Unfortunately, I was looking for a part for my lawnmower, not for a model! I seem to have lost the drive to build another stunt ship.

I buy 5 ply birch at Hobby Lobby.
Michaels may have it, but their supplies for our needs are pretty pss poor slim. they don't even have K&S sheets and tubing, just dumb looks when asked.

Rusty, go to ACE Hardware for K&S sheets plus tubing.  Mine has brass tubing in 3 foot lengths.

Thanks, Doc.

Incidentally, another thing I like to buy from online suppliers is a sack full of tube cuttings. They vary from one to the next, but all have small lengths of copper, brass and aluminum. My last bag had some rod in it too. just a couple of bucks a bag, and I dump it into a cigar box with my bender and cutter. I probably bought it from http://stores.ebay.com/OmniModels. They have better shipping prices than plain old "Omnimodels.com."
