Needing some help with a long shot
« on: March 11, 2017, 09:26:48 AM »
Hi Guys, I'm in the midst of restoring an old model of my father's and trying to get it ready for display at the Toledo show. What I hope to find is a good picture of the 1940-49 AMA logo. The pic is off the AMA site and unfortunately very poor for coloration. I want something I can laser print decals from. Like I said, probably a long shot but I gotta try!!!

Thanks in advance!!!

I am not sure on the actual size. The top two are duds, and the bottom one should be pretty close when printed out. You might want to print it on regular paper and then adjust it to fit the one you have on the model. I made some decals off of it a few years ago and just made them the size it printed. I think I got it off of RC Groups in the Old Time section where they have a bunch of old decals to copy. Glad I was able to help.

I scaled it off a photo and it is 4", thanks again Jim, this really made my day.
