Title: Ball link standoffs - source?
Post by: Dennis Toth on March 28, 2022, 03:19:55 PM
I am working on my OTS Barnstormer (still) and finally got around to installing the controls. The ship is a take-a-part (ala PW Impact method), pushrod is removable from the tail horn and bellcrank. In order to get the clearance over the back control lead I use a brass standoff on the bellcrank to lift it about 1/16". The standoff was from a Dubro ball link. I JP Welded it to the bellcrank but I would like to have a few spares just in case "Murphy" decides to interfere and the JB Weld lets go (will always happen when your in a room with a shag carpet). Anyone have a source to buy them without the ball link?

Best,    DennisT

If John can't help PM me as well.  I have 4 I can part with.  Just bought a "S'load of DuBro larges and they came with them in the bag.  I rarely use them.
