Has anyone tried or have any experience with BA’s motor mounts?
-
The BadAss X-shaped mounts are very nice.
Made from machined aluminum, not cast aluminum.
The slotted mounting holes make alignment much more forgiving and versatile.
-
Are you talking about the X shaped motor mount that comes with the BA motor?
-
No sorry guys. The 3D printed ones.
They would mount on a firewall.

Ok they are designed to move a rear mounted motor forward. COOL! #^ Most everything I have is front mounted. Looks like if you are using a rear mounted motor and want to change to shorter motor of the same series this will make it possible and easy.

You can get them in different sizes depending on what is needed.
It is made with PETG that is tough stuff.
Anyone see a down side to using one?

I have one on my Mo' Best with a large Bad Ass motor. It slides into the normal space that the wood bearers would be. Takes glue well and is strong.

Thanks Perry!
Can you please post a photo on how you mounted it?
