I am roughing out the first cut of another profile warbird, the B-25J. It will be for two 25's. Is there enough interest out there to make it worth the effort to do a set of finished drawings?? The PDF files will still be $10.00. About 62 inch span, 580 wing area.

I'm in! Dad flew B-25's in the So. Pacific. Short nose version, please! Dad's group started the ball rolling on that variant. B-25 was one of his 2 favorite airplanes. The other was the P-26. Hint, hint! H^^ Steve

Started the final cuts today. This is going to take a while as there are a bunch of nit picky items that need to be resolved before going to press. Main fuselage laid out today, looks good so far. Keep those cards and letters coming!

Hi Don.
I have been sketching a profile version of the B-25 for a long time. One question. will it have the dihedral similar to the real wing??
Just would not be a B-25 without it. I know this could be a PITA but just part of its appeal I guess.

Hang tight Mr. Boka, this will be a good one. y1

HI DON,
Please put me down for a set too!!!

It's coming, slower than I like but will be a "Masterpiece" when done. So says the guy doing it! Requires much measuring and figuring to cover dihedral, two engine nacelles, control system etc. I want it to all fit together when building it. Where it doesn't, that's what Super-Fil is for! The building tips might be a book!

I'm slow to the show but I'm in for one also.

That's always a bonus. :##

Hi Don,
Please refresh my memory, do you have a Pay Pal account? It sure makes paying very easy. Sent as a gift to Family/Friends there are no fees.
Thanks,
Bill

Is it too late to request a copy? :D

I have sent (at least I think I did) the B-25 drawings and info sheet to all those above who requested them today, 4/12. If you did not get yours, send me a pm with a valid e-mail address and I will take care of it.
-
Hi Don, Count me in as well on this one, thanks.
-
Don i would loved to have one. Thanks
-
I've had a look. :)
Typical Don Hutchinson stuff here, a well thought out design with excellent scale looks, proper outlines, and all combined with definite competition stunter potential. y1
Bravo! H^^
-
Don,
Another work of art! I will get the check in the mail for you.
Steve.
-
Thanks Don, I mailed your check this morning.

Hi Don,
I got the B-25 plans! Thanks, again! You do take cash don't you?? ;D
Bill
-
Yes, I do take cash!
-
The Czech is in the male! Well, it's really cash, but...
I'm crushed that you didn't include the short/solid nose version. They started out by stuffing a Navy gun (105mm, I think) into the greenhouse version there in the Philippines, but tore up the nose pretty quickly. I think Dad said the navigator/bombardier hand loaded the first gun as fast as he could, while straffing shipping. I asked him how they got ammo for a Navy gun. "No problem." I don't know if a requisition order would do it, or if they traded stuff to the Navy. I know he occasionally traded a box of cigars to the head dude at the Imperial stables for a ride on one of the Emperor's white Arabians. Got pictures of that. H^^ Steve
PS: Where can I get some free drawings online of the solid nose variant?

The option for the snub nose "H" version is included on the plans. I almost missed it with the first look too, but it's there. y1

Thanks, Wayne! I only had time to give the PDF's a quick glance yesterday. Did print out the instruction sheets.
I'm using Windows 8.1 and IE 10 on a new-to-me computer...it's like starting all over, finding stuff. I'll put Don's email in a folder so I'll have a backup. I haven't figured out how to save the .pdfs to a CD or memory dingus yet. <sigh> :( Steve
-
Don't feel lonesome about down loading the .PDF. I can down load the instructions, but not the plans my self.
-
I will be mailing out disks this week to those who can't download the files from E-mail messages.

Oh, I can download the two .pdf's, but it might take me a bit to figure out how to put them onto a CDR, but I'll get 'er done. Meanwhile, I saved the email to my "MA Folder" in my email account, so I can't delete it by accident while dunging out my email inbox. Maybe tomorrow I'll work on putting them on a disc. I looked at the plans again, to see what sizes of balsa would be needed, and cross-referencing the list with what 4-5 lb wood I've got in stock. LL~ Steve

Well the old DOC now owes Don some money. Got my disc today and immediately headed for Staples. I now have a beautiful set of plans to work with.
